Las Vegas Tips of the Week

LasVegasWelcome

Each week, I comb the interwebs and blogosphere for relevant and useful Las Vegas tips. Here are three of my favorites from this week:

Tip #1: Bond Party Pit

The 360 Vegas Podcast crew had a great time on their recent trip at the party pit in the Bond Lounge at the Cosmopolitan. I’m not usually a fan of party pits, but they claimed it was actually somewhat classy. I’ll have to check it out, as I trust their opinion. Plus, they were able to find a $10 minimum blackjack table while they were there. You can listen to their recent trip report here: 360 Vegas Podcast: E-148 G2E 2014

Tip #2: Mirage Pai Gow

@meltzvegas, author of the Edge Vegas blog, tipped me off to what he thinks is the best “low-roller option” at the Mirage. He posted a twit pic of a marathon pai gow session at a $10 table at the Mirage. He claimed he didn’t win, but didn’t lose either. It helped further my growing love for pai gow as a great game for low-rollers looking to maximize their time at the tables. Be sure to give him a follow on Twitter and check out his blog for great Vegas updates.

Tip #3: Whiskey All Around

My final tip comes from writer Miranda Boyd of theVegas.com blog. She details the best place to stay classy and savor the good stuff. I’m a big whiskey fan and I’ve been to most of these places, but Miranda gave me a few new spots to check out. Here’s her full article: Where to wet your whistle with whiskey in Las Vegas

Let me know if you have any tips you’d like to share!
