Episode #76 – Vegas Dives with F’nA

In this episode, I chat with Chris from the Faces and Aces LV Podcast about some Vegas dives and underappreciated places. We’re pretty liberal with our choices. We’d love to hear some of your favorites. Here are some of the places we discussed:

Double Down Saloon – Punk rock bar known for its famous drink, Ass Juice.

Peppermill – Often lauded as a must visit with unique decor and massive portion sizes.

Ellis Island – While not necessarily a dive and beloved by some, they offer consistently good deals and were kind to my listeners, so I have to include them.

Just a couple super famous Vegas podcaster discussing nonsense.

Dino’s – Standard dive with karaoke and inexpensive drinks.

Roberto’s – Mexican chain with fantastic carne asada burritos. A favorite among locals.

Gold Coast – Off-strip joint with low table limits. Across from an underappreciated VP hot spot, The Palms.

Stage Door – Cheap beer and a low-cost hot dog. Every true Las Vegas low roller has been here once.

El Cortez – Because of course.

Le Thai – Fantastic Thai food right downtown.

Pho Little Saigon – Great casual Vietnamese joint. A place to check out pho sure. I’ll see myself out.

Circus Circus – Does it count as a dive? A historic property that should get more love? Well, it has a decent steakhouse and is low roller friendly.

Flamingo – Another historic Strip property that may not get much love, but is a favorite of mine. I’m a sucker for nostalgic Vegas. This one fits the bill for me.

White Castle – This certifiable dive, while old news to us midwesterners, is a new addition to Vegas. Steamed onion laden sliders- make sure you have a few drinks first.

Sports books – Name another place where deals become more abundant the busier it gets? Cheap booze and hot dogs when the games get going. Fuel up and settle in.

Cal sportsbook.
